Dutch Oven Chicken and Vegetables - Chicken Recipe



Welcome to healthy recipe.  We're going to be making a one pot recipe today.  We're gonna be doing a whole chicken in a Dutch oven and we're gonna be flavoring it with rosemary and garlic.

 It's gonna be delicious. We're gonna also throw some fresh vegetables in there as always try to keep things healthy and nutritious.  So let me show you guys what we're doing today.

 This is what we got today four ingredients we got one whole chicken cut down the middle into two halves. This is a organic free-range chicken.  We got one and a half cups of coarsely chopped tomatoes from my garden.  I got two tablespoons of Kerrygold butter.  I have 1 tablespoon of finely minced parsley fresh one.  Whole lime, smoked paprika.  I have about 2 cups of green beans cut into about 1 inch segments.  About 3 whole carrots have cut them into slivers.  Two sprigs of fresh rosemary about 4 cloves of garlic just coarsely chopped.  Also fish soy sauce.  I got some garlic salt and some organic olive oil. S

So first thing we got to do is we got to get our marinade together alright so then we're going with the minced parsley and I do the juice from one whole lime about a teaspoon of garlic salt about a teaspoon of smoked paprika two tablespoons of Worcestershire sauce and about 2 tbsp of olive oil gonna mix all of that together.  Now we're going to put that over the chicken.  I'm gonna go ahead and flip it around . Make sure it gets all over it so you want to make sure you get the marinade and every part of the chicken now we're gonna set that aside for about an hour to refrigerate . Okay so now we're going to go in here 1 tablespoon of olive oil and let that get hot and then we're gonna drop our garlic and other aromatics in okay so now we're going to drop our garlic tomato then drop our rosemary in butter and drop some of that marinade on there now we're gonna cover.  It come back in about 15 to 20 minutes and turn it around.  So it's been 25 minutes and our chicken is completely cooked our vegetables are tender the chickens definitely cooked all the way through you guys can see falling apart pretty easily.  Vegetables are nice and soft I'm gonna go ahead and serve this and garnish it and give it a taste for you guys.   There you have it.

  There is my rosemary chicken and vegetables made in the Dutch oven one pot recipe we garnish it with a sprig of basil and some basil flowers and I'm just gonna put some sliced jalapenos on it.  Just to give it some heat and also to give it some nice bright green color that's basically it pretty simple you guys saw that it wasn't a whole lot of preparation a whole lot of work and really just one pot to clean and vessel that I made the marinade and pretty easy.
